Greetings Mt. Pleasant Church from your Elder team. As we embark on a new year and in light of Pastor Chris’s new sermon series, my prayer is that collectively, as a body of believers, we focus on standing firm in our faith and proclaiming what our church stands for. When our mission is to boldly share the love of Jesus and when our vision is to turn our community upside down for Him as well, we should be unashamed in doing so. Family night has kicked off for the winter session. There are some great class offerings for adults and children alike so we encourage everyone to come, eat and spend your Wednesday evenings with your church family. Also, “Light Up The Night” is coming up in March, so be in prayer for that spectacular event. If you haven’t already registered, consider helping out with that event. You never know the difference you could make in someone else’s life; it just might have an impact on yours as well.

”And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.“ Ephesians 6:18-20
