Blessings, brothers and sisters in Christ from your elder team. We are so blessed at our church to have the kids and youth we have that love Jesus. We recently had a very successful youth trip where the kids got to share their talents and love for God. I was reading an article the other day that described what I believe is a common problem in our society, and one of my verses of the day from my Bible app gave the solution right after reading.

The problem: “4 generation fade”

• Parents don’t make church a high priority for their kids
• Kids grow up and make it less of a priority for their kids
• Those kids grow up and make it no priority for their kids
• Those kids grow up with no concept of God.

Your priorities today impact generations!

The solution:

Deutoronomy 11:18-21 “Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds, tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates, so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land the Lord swore to give to your ancestors, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.”
