27 May The Shepherd’s Staff – March 2022

The elders have spent quite a bit of time this month on evaluating material for our small groups, the Body Building Series, potential community events, church-wide events, and planning for our small group leader training.

The elders are planning two training sessions for our small group leaders on March 20th and 27th. The training is planning to include, but not limited to, identifying the opportunities to lead small groups, discovering specifics ways to lead and form community, equipping the leaders with resources for specific types of studies, and determining Biblically sound curriculum. All this in the interest of equipping our church to turn our community upside down for Jesus Christ.

In the interest of equipping our leaders, the elders anticipate that this will be an ongoing study that will be provided multiple times throughout the year. We would like our leaders to be confident in their leadership and recognize the support we can provide them as they navigate through resources that are available.
